Mmmmm...I was asked this question today and I'm not really sure what the answer is but does erotic art sells well in the UK?  Who knows the answer to this?  I would say British people may not appreciate this type of art or do they?  I would think if it was done in a tasteful manner where it is not pornographic then it may appeal but where do you draw the line?  I think my copy of Le Reve https://www.etsy.com/listing/112616424/free-shipping-oil-painting-copy-my by Pablo Picasso was seen as erotic painting due to the content of the painting.  It was pointed out that Picasso has painted an erect penis, presumably symbolizing his own, in the upturned face of his model.  I think in this case I fail to see that however, I could like and enjoy this type of painting as it is not alway obvious but left to the imagination of each individual.  Agreed?

This is my first blog so forgive me if I make mistakes ;o)  I have been selling contemporary abstract paintings worldwide since 2003 and have been rather successful for someone who is not a professional artist.  When I say I'm not professional artist what I mean is that I never studied art nor have I been painting all my life.  I only started painting by accident and realised people like what I painted even offered me money for my work so I thought why not paint and sell my work!  So that's exactly what I am doing, I paint colourful, surreal abstract modern paintings in oil, acrylic and spray on boxed canvas.  My art is rather unique and one of it's kind so anyone buying my paintings will own something special that no one else in the world will have.
